Homer Thomas III, a Spring 1999 Initiate of the Mighty Mu Epsilon Chapter, was a brother that passed away after a long battle with diabetes. Brother Thomas, along with all brothers of our chapter, believed in a strong emphasis on scholarship. This scholarship serves as a extension of our ideals to the incoming freshmen class. Both men and women are able to apply but you must be a freshmen enrolled at Florida State University. $100 Dollar scholarships will be awarded this summer for the use of paying for books that following Fall.

The Mighty Warrior Scholarship
Dr. Wilnic Gideon is an Florida State University (FSU) alumni who is a high school assistant principal in Palm Beach County. He started this scholarship in order to identify male students from his hometown Palm Beach County that have been accepted to CARE FSU. The purpose is to give back to FSU through in incoming freshman with a similar background of Gideon who had to overcome economic hardships and socioeconomic factors while a student in Palm Beach County.$250 will be given to two dedicated and deserving incoming male and female student from Palm Beach County, with a GPA above 3.0, that have been accepted to the Florida State University's Center for Academic and Retention Enhancement (CARE) Program that following Fall.
